Career Interests
Interest Questions
Interest questions ask how you feel about different work activities.
- Select Like if the activity sounds interesting to you.
- Select Neutral if you are undecided.
- Select Dislike if the activity is not within your area of interest.
Answer based on whether you would like to do the activity, regardless of your current ability, education, or training.
Example Question
How do you feel about this activity as a regular part of your job?
Writing computer programs.
There are no right or wrong answers to interest questions.
Knowledge
Numerical Questions
You can’t pass or fail this section. These questions provide a snapshot of the things you have chosen to learn and remember.
- Do not use a calculator, Google, or other aids.
- You may use scratch paper for figuring.
It is natural to forget math if you do not use it regularly. If you think you might know the answer, make your best educated guess. If you select “I don’t know,” the item will be counted as incorrect.
