Using WOWI with JAWS

Navigating the Assessment

JAWS is a screen reader developed by Freedom Scientific.

WOWI is designed to make it easy to move directly to each question and its answer choices using JAWS Navigation Quick Keys.

Each question is marked as a Region so you can move directly to it using the JAWS R key.

These commands may be helpful while completing the assessment:

• R — Move directly to the question.
• A — Move to the next answer choice.
• Up/Down Arrow — Read the question and answer choices.
• Spacebar — Select an answer.

These suggestions are only one way to navigate the assessment. Use the JAWS commands and techniques you prefer.
